What to expect

We’re marking 10 years of the Istvan Moritz Memorial Scholarship with our biggest celebration yet — a full weekend instead of a single afternoon.

Kick things off Friday night at The Ruck, then join us Saturday for brunch at the Farmers Market and a pickleball tournament at Prospect Park, before heading to McAddy’s for the ceremony honoring this year’s two scholarship recipients, followed by dinner and then dancing and celebration to keep the night going. Sunday wraps things up with a relaxed lunch and games out at the Grafton Peace Pagoda.

It’s a weekend to reconnect with brothers, celebrate the students this scholarship supports, and have a good time seeing old faces — capped off with music and dancing after the awards ceremony.

The scholarship itself was launched in May 2016 in honor of Istvan, and awards two $1,000 scholarships each year. Want to support it directly?
